Meet Dominique Garcia—your movement coach.

I started this work because I lived it.

For ten years, I dealt with a running injury that wouldn't quit. I saw 8 to 10 different specialists—physical therapists, sports medicine doctors, chiropractors. I tried orthotics, rest, dry needling, endless mobility routines. Some things helped a little. Nothing really solved it.

I felt stuck. Frustrated. And honestly? I felt totally defeated. Running wasn't just exercise to me. It was joy. It was freedom. And I couldn't do it anymore.

Years passed. I kept trying different treatments, kept hoping someone would figure it out. They never did. So I started looking for answers myself. I got my personal training certification. I took courses and learned a lot, but something was still missing. I knew I didn't want to go to PT school, but I also knew I could do more than just help people get stronger. I felt like there had to be a middle ground—a different path.

Then I found Austin Einhorn's Evolved Coaching method.

And it finally made sense. This approach centered on critical thinking, collaboration, and treating every body as the unique puzzle it is. For the first time, I felt like I had a way to actually solve problems, not just manage symptoms.

And it worked. After a decade of feeling stuck, I'm getting back to running. I hiked 13 miles with over 4,000 feet of elevation gain—pain-free. I even started doing sprint work again, something I thought I'd never do.

Here's what's wild: I always thought I just wanted someone to give me the answers. I was that kid who hated having to figure things out. But Evolved Coaching opened this door where I realized—oh wow, I actually love problem-solving. I love the challenge of figuring out what's going on in someone's body and testing different approaches until something clicks.

That experience changed how I see this work. I realized that way too many people are going through exactly what I went through—bouncing between practitioners, getting half-answers, feeling unheard.

So I founded Axia Movement to be the resource I wish I'd had back then. Because I like leaving people better than I found them.

What I bring to every session:

Curiosity over protocol

I don't follow protocol. I observe, assess, and adjust based on what your body is telling us. Every case is different, and I treat it that way.

Empowerment over dependency

My goal isn't to make you reliant on me. It's to teach you how to understand and manage your own body—so you leave with knowledge, not just a list of exercises.

Whole person, not just body parts

Pain doesn't exist in a vacuum. I ask about your life, your stress, your habits—because all of it matters. And I need you to be able to tune into what you're feeling in your body without being hypersensitive to every twinge. We'll find that balance together.

My background

I hold a Masters in Health and Social Psychology, I'm a NASM-certified personal trainer, and I've spent years coaching in both strength training and rehab settings. But really? The most important thing I bring is this: I know what it's like to feel stuck in your own body. And I know what it takes to get unstuck.
